Designing with curiosity, clarity & craft.
I’m an adaptable, hands-on designer with experience across publishing, branding, integrated campaigns and digital. I enjoy turning complex ideas into clear, engaging visual experiences, and I’m equally comfortable shaping a brand from the ground up, refining the details of a publication or bringing a campaign to life across multiple channels.
I grew up in the UK and followed my ambition to study Graphic Design at London College of Communication. I began my career in publishing, designing coffee table books and developing a strong foundation in typography, layout and production. Working with beautiful printed objects taught me the value of craftsmanship, precision and considered design.
After seven years, I was ready to broaden my experience and joined Pyott Brand Agency as an Integrated Designer. During an exciting period of growth, I managed projects from initial concept through to final delivery, reporting directly to the founding Creative Director. I collaborated closely with photographers, copywriters, programmers and printers, while also mentoring two junior designers.
One of the highlights of my time there was helping secure a three-year contract with ExxonMobil to rebrand its premium fuel offering. The project gave me valuable experience working on a significant brand challenge and reinforced my belief that the best design is both creatively distinctive and strategically purposeful.
In 2017, I moved to Singapore, where I gained a new perspective on the cultural influences that shape design. At Bonsey Design, I worked with clients across a broad range of industries and learned to approach each project with curiosity, sensitivity and an open mind. On one memorable identity project, we even consulted a Feng Shui master to ensure the new brand would bring prosperity to the business.
Having worked in both agency and in-house environments, I understand how to adapt to different teams, timelines and ways of working. I’m comfortable taking ownership of a project, collaborating with specialists and communicating with stakeholders to keep the work moving forward.
I’m now based in Melbourne, where I’ve been freelancing with clients from the UK and also worked for Bunch Communications on a Coles Recruitment Hub campaign. I have recently developing two websites for my long-standing client, Daisy Finer. These projects have expanded my digital experience and allowed me to bring together my strengths in brand thinking, visual design, content organisation and user-focused communication.
Whether you need support with a brand identity, campaign, publication, website or integrated design projects, I’d love to hear what you’re working on. Get in touch for a chat. I’m always interested in exploring how thoughtful design can help bring an idea to life.
